"Outdoor Electrical Safety" won the 2009 Emmy Award in Instructional Programming. The 61st Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards ceremony was held August 29, 2009, at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
At the 2009 STAR Awards, it was awarded first place as the Best Public Safety Documentary of the year by SCAN NATOA, the regional chapter of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.
